JAMES Argent sent friends and family into a frenzy earlier this month when he failed to check in for a flight and didn't make contact with anyone for 24hours.

It appears the bout of erratic behaviour hasn't ended and TOWIE bosses have apparently been forced to step in.

James is currently filming scenes for the Ibiza spin-off series with Tom Pearce and the cast but while his co-stars frolic carelessly on the various beaches and at the many poolside clubs, he's reportedly being babysat 24 hours a day.

The ITVBe show's producers are said to be "worried about his welfare" after his recent out-of-character antics.

"He was late for lots of filming during the last series and they dont want to repeat that this time around, especially as its Ibiza," a source told the Mirror.

The report also claims the show's big wigs were unsure whether to even let Lydia Bright's on-off boyfriend head out to the white isle in the first place.

"They struck up the deal and now James has a fella named Mason with him all the time, the source finished.

Arg is in good company as another of his home friends has been signed up.
