5 Star Control Announces 3 Things Small Business Must Consider when Creating Money Making Internet Marketing Campaigns

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) January 22, 2014

Following Fox Business January 16th article, "10 Online Marketing Predictions to Inform Your Strategy in 2014," 5StarControl.com released a list of 3 considerations to take when marketing online. The Fox article offered readers 10 possibilities for the future of local internet marketing in an effort to help marketing creators implement up and coming electronic equipment and online applications. In light of the Fox Business article, 5 Star Control revealed 3 things business owners must consider when creating local internet marketing campaigns.

Joanna Lords Fox Business article revealed ten predictions designed to improve the work of marketing copy creators. Because online marketing is an ever-changing process, Lord offered ten predictions, including the advent of new advertising platforms, the increasing use of "smart" devices such as phones and tablets, increasing quality of graphics, and loyalty-based marketing campaigns. All of these factors are intended to be used to better marketing campaigns.

5 Star Control urges readers to take the following three factors into consideration when embarking on new local internet marketing campaigns:

1. Audience. Audience is a key component in marketing copy development, as businesses must identify the audience they are marketing to before choosing an online outlet. Who are the customers? Identify the business target market by studying everything about who the current customers are gender, age, location, career, likes, etc. Profile them.

2. Location. Local internet marketing encompasses a variety of platforms, including large platforms such as Facebook, and smaller platforms, such as official city webpages and review sites. After figuring out who the target market/audience is, figure out what online platform they can be most effectively reached through. If you dont know, dont just guess. Survey existing customers to figure out what platform they could be reached on. If that is not an option, turn to testing before spending tons of money on one platform. A business should thoroughly investigate all available platforms to give the campaign the best possibility of reaching the correct local target market for the given local business.

3. Style. Style will play an important role in developing marketing copy; different styles of writing and different image styles will grab differently at different target groups. Survey customers with images and text to see what it is that grabbed them. Using the correct styles of images and texts will help a business attract its target audience. Again, dont just guess, use surveys and testing to see what works.

Joanna Lord is a regular contributor to Fox Business online. Her work is typically focused on small business and marketing, and how the two interact and intersect.

Joanna Lord constructed an article with ten predictions about online marketing trends in 2014. In response, 5 Star Control created a simple list of 3 key components for developing local internet marketing campaigns. These include audience, location, and style.

The School of Internet Marketing Instructor Provides a Wrap-up of 2013 Tech Stories

Jersey City, New Jersey (PRWEB) January 21, 2014

The School of Internet Marketing Instructor Provides a Wrap-up of 2013 Tech Stories

Jonathan Goodman spoke at Dragon Search and gave an overview of some of the top tech topics of 2013.

The last podcast of 2013 from Jonathan Goodman was an audio from a speaking engagement at Dragon Search in Kingston, NY. Goodman is the president of Halyard Consulting and a professor at The School of Internet Marketing. In this presentation, he touched on three important topics for marketers in 2013 and ongoing. These topics included Schema, Freebase, and Edge Rank.

Goodman gave an overview of Schema and how it will change search results and make them more relevant to what people are actually searching for. He explained that it provides more information about the topic and focuses on the intended meaning rather than just the actual word or phrase.

Freebase is a metaweb that was acquired by Google. It provides connections to multiple objects and relates them in different ways. Goodman gave the example that it takes every person, every location, and every food listed in a book to connect them to each other.

The third topic was Edge Rank, the system Facebook uses to determine which posts users see. Goodman explained how it works and what can increase the likelihood that a business' post will show up on its customers' pages. He used concrete examples to explain all of the concepts to help marketers understand how they can use this technology for their clients. It is essential for marketers to keep up with the latest technology to help them stay ahead of the competition.
