Thomas Jerome Harris is an American YouTuber, mens rights activist, social and political commentator, comedian, and social media influencer known for his controversial opinions and content. He is better known by his pseudonym, Tommy Sotomayor. A native of Georgia, he moved to Arizona later in life. He set up his YouTube channel, MrMadness Sotomayor, in the summer of 2012. Soon after, he started garnering a loyal audience as his content attracts certain groups with deeply conservative views. He has gained notoriety for criticizing black women, the Black Lives Matter movement, and gay rights activism. There was a Change.org petition in April 2017 that proposed that Sotomayors channel should be banned. While the petition failed, his channel has been taken down several times over the years. Although some of his associated channels were not terminated and he eventually managed to get his main channel up and running again, the damage had already been done. It currently has 300 thousand subscribers and less than 300 thousand views. In 2016, he appeared in a comedy feature called Drugs & Other Love. Sotomayor produced and directed the documentary A Fatherless America, which was also released in 2016.
