Dr. Tariq Drabu Urges Students and Colleagues to Attend a Forthcoming Course on Marketing and Social Networking

Tariq Drabu, dentist for over 25 years, understands the importance of using the internet to market the profession and individual dental practices. The School of Internet Marketing Instructor on Experiencing England

The podcast from The School of Internet Marketing Instructor and president of Halyard Consulting Jonathan Goodman on December 7, 2013 was focused on his recent vacation to England. He discussed his impressions of the food and culture during his stay.

The focus of Goodman's comments was on the various places where he ate and the different events he attended and places where he went. He was amazed at the size and variety of the typical English breakfast. As he pointed out, everything in England is either sweet or savoury. He was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to try several traditional English dishes, including blood pudding and fish and chips. While most places provided delicious food, he did mention one pub where the food was pretty bad. By the time he noticed a German Sausage Hut, he was too full to enjoy it.

Goodman entertained his audience with witty comments on his adventures during the week-long stay. One of the most memorable stories he told was of his impressions of the musical "The Bodyguard". After giving his review of the show, he said the only way it would have worked was as an off-beat comedy with RuPaul as the drag queen version lip-syncing Whitney Houston vocals. It was obvious from his stories that Goodman enjoyed his time across the pond.

Casalina, an educational film producer and author, sat down with Goodman to discuss the origins of her book.
