"Daughter, My dear child, soon Italy will suffer the consequences of her mistakes.

She is walking in the darkness of darkness, since she abandoned the precepts givenby the Lord.

Although she has been the seat of Peter, even more she will be responsible for the scourges drawn upon herself.

Have you all forgotten what it was expected by a nation destined to become holy, being the seat of the Vicar of Christ on Earth.

You[1] (the Italians) should have set an example for other countries and bring other nations to Me, the Savior.

You (the Italians) are at the mercy of the spirit of the world, unable to follow the rules given by The Most High, instead you devoted your time to activities far from God, building sand castles on the shore of a stormy sea.

The faculties you have been able to come in possession and the way you pretend to manage political and social activities, have nothing to do with the Project of a holy nation God as designated.

You will see the wrath of the Father falling on of the southern shores[2] (of Italy), on account of injustices and of the intemperance, the disorderly living that characterizes this area of the nation.

Nevertheless, if the south (part of the country of Italy) will be hit by rough seas and wide-ranging earthquakes, all this will be expanding like wildfire: from the center of the capital people will cry and will get scared at unexpected happenings.

Rome will witness events that will be known worldwide.

Rome has thrown mud on My Holy Vicar[3], making the heart of the Church suffer.

Rome will see the decay of the great works built by the hands of men; wondrous monuments will be leveled to the ground, being for very long time an offense in the eyes of My Father. Being idolized as great wonders, they will fall and will cease to exist.

Purify[4] (nation of Italy), bend your knees to the power of The Most High, you who have been the spectator of the martyrdom of Peter, and that do not cease to condemn to death the Christ Himself, nailing Him to the cross and beating Him in a mercilessly flagellation.

Rome will cry.

Italy will look helpless when armies will invade her streets and will take possession of the freedom of the people, by imposing the terrible law of communism[5].

Italy will raise her eyes towards Me and will cry asking for mercy.

And as quickly as said, Justice will fall on the heads of those responsible for this abomination toward the Italian people.

Children, the time of conversion and of the Act of Mercy is approaching rapidly.

Try to be prepared at all times, because you never know when the set time of events will come.

Also understand that all will be preceded by specific facts, some of which might be changed by the Will of the Father, you will have to stay with your ears open in listening to the Voice of God, and keep your clothes washed to welcome the Bridegroom.

I will knock at the door (of your soul) when you least expect it and you'll be taken by surprise, for the large number of you.

Nothing happens by chance, in the end.

Nothing comes by itself, if not from The Father Himself.

Each event has its own designated purpose, such as a tile that is added to the puzzle until the design is clearly visible.

Do not lose hope, but act upon it by waking up and preparing those fallen asleep because of the mundane world and the passions that obscure the truth.

Gather as many souls as possible under the protection of My Blood and the Immaculate Mantle of My Mother.

Pray for them, saying:

Lord Jesus, bend the knees of these souls (you can specify the names) by putting them at the foot of Thy Holy Cross and fill them with the power of Your Precious Blood.

I will take them and will put them at the foot of the Holy Cross, washing them with My Blood.

It will be repelled in them every demonic influence that can harm themselves and others, in order to save them all.

Act accordingly and be aware that with the Power of My Name and of My Blood, you will have in your hands the victory over the forces of evil.

Because whoever acts in My Name and believes in Me, acquires a limitless force and the Power of the (Holy) Spirit will blow strongly.

Your Jesus, Priest and King of the Universe."

The First Amendment of the United States was ratified, along with nine other amendments to the Constitution of the United States making up the Bill of Rights, on December 15, 1791. The text of the First Amendment reads:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

These forty-five words encompass the most basic of American rights: freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, the right of assembly, and the right of petition. But what do those words mean? The meaning was not clear in 1791 and still is the subject of continuing interpretation and dispute in the 21st Century.

The First Amendment was not important in American life until well into the 20th Century. Yes the words were there, but the first word of the First Amendment restricted its sweep to the federal government: Congress shall make no law . . . And even in its 18th Century origins, despite democratic stirrings and impulses to expanding freedom among some leaders, there is reason to believe that the Bill of Rights was offered as an 18th Century political compromise, a hollow gesture in comparison to the sweeping words. When the Federaliststhose favoring the centralized government proposed by the draft Constitution of 1787---feared that opposition by the Antifederalists would stop adoption of the second Frame of Governnment (to replace the Articles of Confederation).

Hidden beneath the controversy stirred up last week by the publication of a book called Fire and Fury, a highly critical insiders view of the Trump White House that the president has not only denounced on national television but also tried to prevent from being published and distributed, are the efforts of the Trump administration and congressional leadership to bypass the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution.

Here is the back story.

After the excesses of the Watergate era, during which the Nixon administration used the FBI and the CIA unlawfully to spy without warrants on the presidents real and imagined domestic political opponents, Congress passed the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. FISA prohibited all domestic surveillance except that which is pursuant to warrants signed by federal judges.

The Fourth Amendment -- which guarantees privacy in our persons, houses, papers and effects -- permits the government to invade that privacy only when a judge has signed a warrant that authorizes surveillance, a search or a seizure. And judges may only issue warrants when they have found probable cause to believe that the government surveillance or invasion of the targets privacy will produce evidence of criminal behavior. The Fourth Amendment further requires that the judicial warrant describe specifically the place to be searched or the person or thing to be seized.

All these requirements are in the amendment so as to prevent any court from issuing general warrants. Before the Constitution, general warrants were issued by British courts that met in secret in London. They were not issued based on probable cause of crime but issued based on the governments wish to invade the privacy of all Americans living in the Colonies to find the more rebellious among them. This was the king and Parliaments version of protecting national security.

General warrants did not describe the place to be searched or the person or thing to be seized. They authorized the bearer -- usually a British soldier physically located in the Colonies -- to search where he wished and seize whatever he found.

FISA did not interfere with the standard understanding or use of the Fourth Amendment by the government and the courts. But it did add another way for the government to invade privacy when its wish is to surveil people for national security purposes -- a return to general warrants -- as opposed to solely gathering evidence of crimes.

The FISA-created procedure, enacted in defiance of the Fourth Amendment -- which makes no distinction between government evidence gathering and government intelligence gathering -- permits a secret court in Washington to issue general warrants based on the governments need to gather intelligence about national security from foreigners among us. It pretends that the standard is probable cause of foreign agency, but this has now morphed into the issuance of general warrants whenever the government wants them.

Since 1977, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court has issued well over 99 percent of the warrants that the government has requested. And these warrants do not specifically describe the place to be searched or the person or thing to be seized. A typical FISC-issued warrant authorizes government surveillance on all landlines, mobile devices and desktop computers in a given area or ZIP code. One infamous FISC-issued search warrant permitted the feds to surveil all Verizon customers in the U.S. -- in excess of 115 million people -- without any evidence of crime or even suspicion about any of them.

Now back to the Trump administrations work below the radar. Even in the fresh aftermath of 9/11, when the governments respect for constitutional norms was at a lamentably low point, the government interpreted the Fourth Amendment as requiring the government to separate its intelligence functions from its law enforcement work. The government recognized that its trigger for mass surveillance -- namely, looking for a foreign agent among the populace -- was a far lower standard than probable cause of crime, which is what the Fourth Amendment requires.

Today, the federal governments computers are permanently connected to the mainframes of all telecoms and computer service providers in America, so the spying is in real time. Today, the federal government employs more than 60,000 domestic spies -- one spy for every 5,500 Americans. Today, if any of them come across evidence of crimes while listening to your telephone calls or reading your texts or emails ostensibly for intelligence purposes, there is little they can do about it.

Until now.

Now, hidden beneath the Fire and Fury controversy is the muffled sound of the Trump administration and Republican congressional leaders plotting the enactment of an addition to FISA that would permit the use of evidence of crimes in federal court even when it is discovered during mass surveillance authorized by general warrants.

If enacted, this radical, unconstitutional hole in the Fourth Amendment would bring the country full circle back to the governments use of general warrants to harass and prosecute -- general warrants so odious to our forebears that they took up arms against the kings soldiers to be rid of them.

I am surprised that President Donald Trump supports this. He has himself been the target of unlawful foreign surveillance and unconstitutional FISC-authorized domestic surveillance. Fire and Fury even quotes former British Prime Minister Tony Blair warning a newly elected Trump about this. And now he wants to unleash upon us all the voracious appetite for surveillance that was unleashed upon him and prosecute us for what is found, the Constitution be damned.

Whatever happened to the public promise to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution as it is written? Thats in the oath all in government have taken. That is the oath that the president and his Republican allies reject.

Under the state of emergency imposed by Mr. Erdogan since the attempted coup, public gatherings are prohibited and freedom of expression and the media are tightly constrained. Most of those joining Ms. Akseners movement are young people chafing under the restrictions, she said.

Ms. Aksener and Mr. Erdogan both represent the center right of the political spectrum, but she opposes him on almost every aspect of his politics, from his increasingly autocratic form of government to his anti-Western diatribes that have damaged relations and scared off foreign investment.

Mr. Erdogan remains Turkeys most popular politician by far, but last years referendum showed that the country is deeply divided. Ms. Aksener says she is uniquely placed to draw support from right-wing nationalists and more liberal centrists who are disenchanted with Mr. Erdogan.

We saw in the referendum the country is split in half, she said. The Good Party is the only party that can get votes from both camps.

Still, her path ahead will be anything but easy. Although Mr. Erdogans Justice and Development Party has slipped slightly in the polls, there is little sign that Ms. Aksener is the cause, said Kemal Can, a prominent political writer.

Most of the polls show that she cannot draw the vote away from A.K.P., he said, using the partys Turkish initials. She may sway 1 or 2 percent from A.K.P., but these are already estranged voters who most probably already voted No in the referendum.

Since she occupies some of the same political space as the president, Ms. Aksener is in many ways campaigning as the anti-Erdogan.

She says she wants to re-establish freedom of expression, reverse draconian measures that have imprisoned journalists and closed down newspapers and media outlets, and restore a nonpartisan justice system and constitutional court.

She also says she wants to reverse Mr. Erdogans April referendum, which will introduce an executive-style presidency after the next elections, regardless of who wins.

We are going to return to a parliamentary system, she said. The second thing is to restore trust in the economy.

The daughter of a civil servant, Ms. Aksener grew up in a small rural village in western Turkey. Her family was among the hundreds of thousands resettled from Greece in the population exchanges between Greece and Turkey in 1923.

Despite limited education, I managed to go to university and became a lecturer, she said. She gained her doctorate in history in Istanbul and taught at several universities.

Yet Ms. Aksener said the possibility of moving up a class through education had become elusive in Turkey, where employment has become partisan, depending on whether a person is connected to the governing party. The opportunity I got 45 years ago, you cannot receive today, she said.

Education and the economy are the two things people are most concerned about on the campaign trail, she said.

Thousands of families were affected when Mr. Erdogan scrapped the national high-school entrance exam in September, ordering students instead to attend their closest neighborhood school, many of which have been transformed into religious academies.

Pupils were preparing for the exam for four years, Ms. Aksener said, and you change it overnight?

Mobility between the social classes will be diminished, she added. Children will not be able to dream about their future, and this is the saddest thing.

Although Mr. Erdogan has overseen a period of impressive economic growth, allowing many in Turkey to climb out of poverty and join the middle classes, Ms. Aksener noted that the growth has been built on a construction boom rather than industrialization.

Pointing to high youth unemployment, she said research conducted by her party had found that 18- to 25-year-olds from middle-income families felt trapped in a triangle of unhappiness, despair and fatalism. The Good Party will give hope to these people, she said.

She entered politics in 1994, joining the True Path Party of Suleyman Demirel and serving as interior minister for nine months until a military coup replaced the government in 1997. She joined the Nationalist Movement Party in 2007 and became deputy speaker of Parliament for eight years.

Although the Nationalist Movement Party has a history of extreme right-wing elements, Ms. Aksener has avoided nationalist rhetoric and describes herself as center-right. Her party manifesto is carefully worded, supporting a strong defense against terrorism, immigration and outside cultural influences.

Senior members of her new party have been more outspoken, though. Umit Ozdag, the vice chairman of the Good Party, caused an outcry in November with derogatory comments about Syrian refugees.

Ms. Aksener remains focused on attacking Mr. Erdogans policies.

She broke with the Nationalist Movement Party leader, Devlet Bahceli, over his support for Mr. Erdogans new presidential system, which she criticizes for lacking checks and balances.

She is also campaigning for womens rights, hoping to win over female voters. In the cities, women are harassed based on their gender, she said. In the villages they are beaten up or even killed.

She describes her 24 years in politics as a very rough political life. During the 2015 parliamentary election campaign, supporters of Mr. Erdogan alleged on television that a video showed her cheating on her husband, a mechanical engineer.

In the furor that followed, both Mr. Erdogan and his wife called her in sympathy, as did Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and his wife although Ms. Aksener said that amid that sympathy they also encouraged her to drop out.

I noticed there was an expectation that I should end this fight, she said. I went in the opposite direction. I continued the fight and I sued those people.

Her accusers backed off somewhat, but were later acquitted.

The battle taught her a lesson, she says. I saw them up close, she said. I am not afraid of Erdogan, not as much as a grain of dust.

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Tayyip Erdogan denounced U.S. justice on Friday and suggested Turkey could rethink some bilateral agreements with Washington, after a U.S. court convicted a Turkish banker in a trial that included testimony of corruption by top Turkish officials.

In his first public comments on Wednesdays verdict, the Turkish president cast the case as American plot to undermine Turkeys government and economy - an argument likely to resonate with nationalist supporters.

If this is the U.S. understanding of justice, then the world is doomed, Erdogan told a news conference before his departure to France for an official visit.

A U.S. jury convicted an executive of Turkeys majority state-owned Halkbank (HALKB.IS) of evading Iran sanctions, at the close of the trial which has strained relations between the NATO allies. Some of the court testimony implicated senior Turkish officials, including Erdogan. Ankara has said the case was based on fabricated evidence.

Without being specific, Erdogan said the case put agreements between the two countries into jeopardy: ....The bilateral accords between us are losing their validity. I am saddened to say this, but this is how it will be from now on.

Turkeys foreign ministry on Thursday condemned the conviction as unprecedented meddling in its internal affairs. The row has unnerved investors and weighed on the lira currency, which hit a series of record lows last year.

The court case has put pressure on relations between Washington and the biggest Muslim country in NATO, already strained since a 2016 failed coup in Turkey which Erdogan blames on followers of a cleric who lives in the United States.

Only last week the United States and Turkey lifted all visa restrictions against each other, ending a months-long visa dispute that began when Washington suspended visa services at its Turkish missions after two local employees of the U.S. consulate were detained on suspicion of links to the coup.

The Halkbank executive, Mehmet Hakan Atilla, was convicted on five of six counts, including bank fraud and conspiracy to violate U.S. sanctions law. The case was based on the testimony of a wealthy Turkish-Iranian gold trader, Reza Zarrab, who cooperated with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to charges of leading a scheme to evade U.S. sanctions against Iran.

In his testimony Zarrab implicated top Turkish politicians, including Erdogan. Zarrab said Erdogan, then prime minister, had personally authorised two Turkish banks to join the scheme.

Turkey says the case was based on fabricated evidence and has accused U.S. court officials of ties to the cleric Turkey blames for the coup attempt. The bank has denied any wrongdoing and said its transactions were in line with local and international regulations.

The United States is carrying out ... a chain of plots, and these are not just legal but also economic plots, Erdogan said.
