Green Bay Packers release quarterback B.J. Coleman

The Green Bay Packers have released quarterback B.J. Coleman. The former McCallie and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga standout told the Times Free Press this morning that he got the word from the team Sunday night.

Coleman said he wasn't sure what was next, whether he could get picked up by another team or if he will return to Chattanooga and wait for the phone to ring.

The Packers have already signed a quarterback to their practice squad and they signed Seneca Wallace today, so his time in Green Bay appears over, he said.
