Rock Choir members from Farnham raised hundreds of pounds for the Missing People charitys Everything Stops for Tea campaign.

All 18,000 choir members across the country were invited to throw tea parties for family, friends and colleagues on Friday (March 20).

Founder Caroline Redman Lusher pledged to match every 1 raised at the Farnham Rock Choir tea party.

The party netted 179.42, which she matched to make a grand total of 358.84.

Caroline said: We were thrilled to support Missing People with their Everything Stops For Tea campaign.

The Rock Choir office team really got behind the event, bringing in home made goodies.

It also gave us a chance to invite some of our business neighbours in for a cup of tea and a few pieces of cake, which was great and helped increases the amount we were able to raise.

Every time there is a campaign we partner with the charity and raise funds and awareness for them, and with cake involved you cant really go wrong.

We often meet the families of those who have got missing people, it is extraordinary meeting them.
