Bridge winners named

ZANESVILLE - Duplicate Bridge winners for games played Dec. 20 and Jan. 3 at the Muskingum County Center for Seniors were Ellen Dagneau and Cinda Cooper. Winners for games Dec. 27 were Terry Campbell and Pam Morrow. Winners of games Dec. 30 were Carol Willey and Cassie Ridenour. Ellen Dagneau and Bernie Schreiner won games on Jan. 6.

Perry Chamber schedules monthly luncheon

SOMERSET - The Perry County Chamber of Commerce will have its monthly business luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Jan. 15 at Strong & Co. Restaurant and Bar, 107 E. Main St., Somerset.

Aaron Dagres, with the U.S. Census Bureau, will be the speaker. Cost for lunch is $15. Make reservations by 10 a.m. day of the event at 740-342-3547 or pcccofc@yahoo.com.

Astronomy Club having event

ZANESVILLE - The Zanesville Astronomy Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, with the Lewis Observatory on the campus of Ohio University Zanesville open for observations. Meeting will be in the Roggie Pavilion if weather is bad.

Named to the Presidents List for the fall semester were Chance Conaway, Emily Dietz, Dakota Kirkbride and Ethan Lussier of Zanesville; Maddie Phillips of Philo and Olivia Thompson of White Cottage.

Named to the fall Deans List were Emmerson Haven of Zanesville and Miranda Kincaid of Junction City.

Named to the fall Provosts List were Jack Dowdell of Glenford, Jayni Lamb of Somerset and Thomas Wibbeler of Zanesville.

Bob Jones University

Anna Ryan of Zanesville was named to the fall semester Presidents List. Shes majoring in junior biblical counseling.

Washburn University

Callie Tatman of Roseville was named to the fall Presidents List.

Marietta College

Named to the fall semester Deans List were Amanda Carpenter of Zanesville, Jake Dinan and Parker Dinan of Nashport and Anna Priest of Frazeysburg. Priest and Jakeb are majoring in petroleum engineering, Parker is majoring in biochemistry and Carpenter is majoring in early childhood education.
