Alumni Profile: Adam Paul, Multimedia and Marketing Pro
Young Alumnus of the Year Award -- Adam Paul is the owner of Catch Multimedia which produces marketing campaigns and television shows for anglers, hunters and outdoorsmen. He is also the owner of GillznFinz.com, a global, social networking website for and by fishermen. The site and its characters quickly became an internet sensation when it launched in 2007. This led to an online mini-series and a contract to produce two seasons of a reality-based sport fishing television series. Today GillznFinz Television is broadcast to 120 million households per week. Paul and his staff travel to exotic fishing destinations around the world in search of big fish. Their efforts have led to two Emmy nominations and 15 awards. Paul majored in studio art at the College, but always knew he was destined to make his mark in the fishing industry. While a student, he obtained his Masters Captain #39;s license and spent five years working in Charleston as a mate, guide and eventually running his own fishing charters.
