MANCHESTER Even though New Hampshire has gone from red to purple on the political spectrum, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, a possible candidate for president in 2016, said if Republicans continue to grow the party, theres no reason they cant win big in November.

I dont see division. I see unity, and I smell victory, Paul said at a Republican Unity Breakfast in Manchester on Friday morning that featured all of the states top Republican candidates and Sen. Kelly Ayotte, who isnt up for re-election.

We have a great crowd this morning but weve got to be bigger, Paul said.

Theres a lot of things we can do as a party to grow our party much of it is about attitude and compassion.

Paul used immigration as an example: We have to change our attitude on immigration. Theyre good people who want to work hard.

And the party needs to reach out more to minorities, he said.

Without that, were never going to win, he said.

Later Friday, Paul endorsed Scott Brown for U.S. Senate against incumbent Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. Paul faulted Shaheen for supporting President Barack Obamas agenda, including health care overhaul, but tied it all to one theme.
