How install extensions in Joomla
This little tutorial goes through the simple process of installing a new Joomla extension. Joomla extensions come in form of installable zip files. If the zip file gives error make sure the extension itself is just inside the zip file and not buried in another folder. Joomla extensions come in 3 flavours - Components, Modules and Plugins. All of them are installed through same process but modules and plugins require extra steps for turning them on.
