Senior pastor Bob Froese was getting some work done on his laptop and a hockey game was on TV in the background in what he likes to call his man cave.

When the Los Angeles Kings and Colorado Avalanche went to a shootout on Saturday, Froese started paying closer attention to the riveting contest. He was interested to see how the goalies handled the one-on-one confrontation.

It got to the shootout which I think is just so exhilarating, [because] I didnt have to do them, Froese said. All of a sudden, at the end of the game, they said this goaltender, [Martin] Jones, has tied the record for most wins" at the start of a career.

It didnt even dawn on me until I heard my name. Its amazing. It caught me out of left field.

Froese later came back to the surreal experience, saying: I joked with my wife: Is there another Bob Froese?

With eight wins in the first eight starts of his career, Kings rookie goaltender Martin Jones tied Froeses modern-day record. Froese won his first eight starts with the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1982-83 season.

Jones said after the Kings 3-2 win in the shootout that he wasnt aware of the record. He has the chance to break the mark Monday night at Staples Center against the Dallas Stars.

It turned out that Froese had the game on only because the youngest of his four sons, who is 21, happens to be a Kings fan. Froese was talking about the experience in a telephone interview from his office on Monday afternoon at the Faith Fellowship Church in Clarence, N.Y., which is about half an hour away from Buffalo.

Froese went 9-0-1 to start his NHL career and suffered his first loss, at Buffalo on Feb 23, 1983. He went 17-4-2 with a goals-against average of 2.52 his rookie season.

You get in there and everything is new and exciting, he said. Youre not blinking because you dont want to miss anything. When you get on the ice, youre so focused. I was thinking about this and just reflecting on it, that this young goaltender [Jones], its really a time where you just want to sit back and just savor.

Space (//, Spanish:[espeis], Catalan:[spejs]) is a nightclub on the island of Ibiza, Spain, owned by STANCA. It was awarded "Best Global Club" at the International Dance Music Awards in 2005, 2006 and again in 2012. Space is located in Playa d'en Bossa on the outskirts of Ibiza Town, close to the airport.

Space in its current form began in 1989 when Pepe Rosello, Ibiza nightclub owner since 1963, took over the establishment, which in the four years since it was built had housed a conference hall with a discothque. The opening policy agreed with Spanish licensing laws, which state that an establishment must close for at least two hours a day.

The first DJs to shape the venue into its current shape were Alex P and Brandon Block two British club DJs/Producers and residents of Sunday Space Terrace Space's outdoor terrace, where airliners roar overhead.[1] This open terrace and the roaring sound of the airliners breaking through the booming dance music has become one of the club's defining features. Since Amnesia and Privilege have had to encase their open-air dance-floors due to noise complaints from their neighbours, Space remains one of the few venues where club-goers can have this experience, and the crowd's greeting of the arriving aircraft [2][3] has also become a ritual among the club's patrons.

Other resident DJs/producers responsible for the club's popularity include Reche, Jose de Divina and Jon Ulysses. Space released compilations every year via the former Azuli label and now with CR2 Records.[4]

Space's Flagship Sunday sessions began in 1999. We Love... Space is a weekly party which opens at 4.30pm on Sunday and keeps going until 6 AM Monday morning. The event runs for 16 weeks throughout the summer season.

Following the closure of three of Ibiza's Clubs at the start of the 2007 season,[5] local authorities have hinted at plans to alter the licensing regulations that allow clubs to open for 22 h per day.[6] Suggestions at present would allow for clubs to open at noon.[7] Clubs may not open before 8 a.m.

On 29 December 2012, Space opened its first affiliate at Balnerio Cambori, on Santa Catarina, Brazil, named Space B. Cambori.[8]
