The kiss of death for ”Kiss” branded Turkish chocolates for non-conformity to Libyan standards – Libya Herald

The Libyan Food and Drug Control Centre has rejected a shipment of 641 boxes of chocolate wafer biscuits at Tripoli Port because they are called Kiss. The product is of Turkish origin.

The Food and Drug Control Centre said it rejected the shipment because it does not conform to standard specifications 53 for explanatory data in terms of the name conflicting with the custom and law of Libyan society.
