Rising UFC welterweight contender, Khamzat Chimaevs head coach Andreas Michael shared this same message again on Instagram. He suggested that this mindset has caused him a lot of unrest in Sweden, as it draws a lot of flack from his peers. Being an elite boxer and coach, he believes in bringing out the best in his pupil, which requires going against the system.

He agreed with UFC Icon, Joe Rogan, and stated that it took him a lot of courage to walk this path all alone. Michael even dubbed it a weak-minded ideology and challenged it to produce the same result as his team has.

He backed Petersons views and said, Being an elite athlete that competes against the best in the WOOOORRLLD you have to be a monster! If youre not, you get beaten by monsters! And even being a monster is not enough. You have to be able to handle success and glory which brings its own problems.

Michael added, I dont waste my time on anything that dont give me 100% and then some. Having fun being fragile is nonexistent. We do what we have to when we have to for the WIN! Hard People create glorious times. Weak people create nearly and almost!

Further highlighting his struggles as a coach, he claimed that he simply doesnt have time for weakness and excuses. The pathway to becoming great cannot be painless and without its own fair share of hurdles.

Peterson suggested that men should not be docile, and weak, and it should not become a virtue. Rogan disagreed with the general opinion and said, No, you should be a monster. You should be ruthlessly ambitious and then learn how to control it. Its that old expression. It is better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war.
