Company Gives Back to the Community and Spreads Holiday Spirit

Vizergy Digital Travel Partners with Angelwood, Inc. for Holiday Fundraising Drive

Vizergy, the hospitality industry's leading provider in hotel Internet marketing, has focused its annual fundraising efforts for the 2014 holiday season on Jacksonville based Angelwood, Inc., a non-profit providing group home facilities for people with special needs, with 24-hour care in a loving home setting, in order to give back and make a lasting impact on the local community.

Each year, Vizergy looks forward to teaming up with a special charitable organization that benefits those in need, in the spirit of giving and kindness. This year, Vizergy employees formed into eight teams to assemble a collection of festive, themed gift baskets that will raise money to support Angelwood, Inc. through a company raffle held at the firm's annual holiday party. The themes include a "Bro Basket", "Coffee Basket", "Put Me in Coach Basket", "Roaring 20's Basket", "Latin Food & Spirits Basket", "New Year's Resolution Basket", "Brewery Basket", and a "Local Wellness Basket". 100% of the proceeds raised from these diverse gift packages will be donated to Angelwood, Inc.

As a local nonprofit, Angelwood, Inc. largely relies on support from the community through donations, volunteering, and annual fundraisers that include a fashion show, a golf tournament, and a charity motorcycle ride. The organization depends on the funds raised from such events to assist families in caring for the special needs of their loved ones, and Vizergy is thrilled to contribute to this worthy cause on both a company and individual level through its unique charity auction.

In 2013, Vizergy proudly raised more than $1,100 for Hubbard House, a safe haven for victims of domestic violence, through its annual employee raffle, and the Vizergy event organizers are anticipating that enthusiastic participation from associates will result in doubling that dollar amount in 2014 to benefit Angelwood, Inc.

About Angelwood, Inc. Angelwood assists families in caring for the special needs of their loved ones through a variety of programs suited to each person's individual goals. Founded in 1993, the organization has grown from one group home for three children with developmental disabilities to serving over 300 area families through programs. Angelwood provides quality services such as residential group homes, respite care, behavior services, summer day camp, adult day training, supported employment and transportation.
