Infamous fishbat Splash host and fishbat founder Scott Darrohn recently unveiled his new co-host in the new video about Bud Lights use of social media during the Big Game. fishbats community manager Gabrielle Giuffrida splits the air time with Darrohn, creating a new vibe that combines digital news with comedic banter.

Instead of filming Darrohn alone in a news desk-like backdrop, Giuffrida joins him in the familiar Hawaiian attire and interacts with him more freely. The idea to add a co-host materialized as the company started growing rapidly. Darrohn said he wanted to improve the video format and make it more interactive.

It works so much better having Gabrielle there because we can interact with each other and it gives the video more of a newsroom appeal, Darrohn said. We bounce comments off of each other and I think people will be more entertained by it. The news will travel faster if people enjoy the video.

Giuffrida is the new community manager at the Internet marketing company. She handles client social media pages and helps to maximize social outreach. She said she enjoys filming for fishbat Splash and thinks the new format with two hosts makes the videos more shareable.

I was really nervous at first but after the first video about the Big Game I was confident that having two hosts could really improve these videos, she said. The videos are funny and its mostly due to the interaction between Scott and I. People are definitely going to want to share something that they think is funny, so Im thinking this is going to really increase our reputation and outreach.
