Phoenix Internet marketing firm CyberMark International was recently selected as a finalist for the Spirit of Enterprise Award, an honor bestowed annually on Arizonas leading businesses. The winner of the award will be announced at a luncheon on Nov. 1 at the J.W. Marriott Desert Ridge resort.

The Spirit of Enterprise Center, part of the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, has given the awards to outstanding Arizona businesses since 1997. Spirit of Enterprise judges evaluate award nominees based on criteria such as innovation, growth, response to business challenges, customer service, commitment to improvement, business ethics and service in the community.

CyberMark International was founded by CEO Kimberly Judd-Pennie in 1994, at the dawn of the age of Internet commerce, when she was a single mother and self-taught Internet marketer. She had the vision to recognize that business websites could not serve their purpose unless they were effectively marketed to make them visible to customers and potential customers.
