Probable U.S. presidential contender Hillary Clinton to speak in Montreal

Hillary Clinton will be addressing a sold out crowd in Montreal at the Palais des Congrs on Tuesday, March 18, 2014.

MONTREAL One of the most anticipated speakers of the year will be addressing a sold out crowd at the Palais des Congrs on Tuesday evening.

Probable U.S. presidential contender Hillary Clinton is scheduled to speak for an hour before 4,300 people who have paid between $50 and $300 each.

Leaders of Quebecs three main provincial political parties, as well as the mayors of Montreal and Quebec City, are scheduled to attend.

Clinton is widely considered as the Democratic front runner in the 2016 presidential elections although she hasnt declared her candidacy.

There are no advance copies of Clintons speech but in public addresses shes made in other North American cities this year, the former Secretary of State and U.S. Senator talked about improving opportunities for women and minorities in business and politics.

Many attendees will likely be listening to see what she has to say about the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the U.S. response.
