There is a wide range of pricing options for each project management software. monday.com, Trello and Asana are all rated one of our top project management software and tools.

When it comes to free plans, ClickUp, Asana and Trello offer far more capabilities than monday.com. monday.coms free plan allows only two users per account and is best suited for solo workers who want to keep a list of their projects.

All four companies offer a mobile app capability and unlimited users for the paid plan. The main difference comes down to price, features and flexibility, as each project management platform is designed slightly differently and may be more suitable to the type of projects you are managing.

As far as paid plans, ClickUps Unlimited plan and Trellos Standard plan offer the best prices for lower-tier plans, paid annually, at $7 USD ($9.70 CAD) per month per user and $5 USD ($6.91 CAD) per month per user respectively. If youre paying monthly, Trellos Standard plan is the most affordable, at $6 USD ($8.29 CAD) per month per user, compared to $10 USD ($13.82 CAD) per month per user for ClickUps Unlimited plan.

monday.com and Asanas paid subscriptions are the most expensive. monday.coms paid plans start at $11 CAD per user per month, billed annually. As there is a minimum of three users per membership, the least youd spend is $33 CAD per month, billed annually. monday.coms most popular plan, their Standard plan, costs $14 CAD per user per month with a minimum of three users. Asanas starts at $10.99 USD ($15.20 CAD) per month per user, billed annually, more than double the cost of ClickUps and Trellos paid subscription offerings.
