Be careful what you wish for, Al. You want more black Oscar nominations? Fine, then how about starting more white football and basketball players?
Get real, Al! Whether it is a starting position on a sports team, an Oscar nomination or a job, the Oscar should go to the most talented, regardless of race, color or creed! The late Martin Luther King Jr. did not dream of more Oscar nominations, Al; he had a dream where people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character! And the Oscar goes to ... .
