Ann Coulter Continues Trump Warpath on Lou Dobbs

Ann Coulter tripled down on her criticism of Donald Trump Wednesday night, saying that her once-beloved president now seemed more interested in courting traditional GOP interests than fulfilling his campaign promises.

All he wants is for Goldman Sachs to like him, Coulter told Fox News anchor Lou Dobbs. I dont know what happened. But thats a different president. I havent changed. He has.

A switch changed with him, she continued. An elegant person wouldnt have said the things he was saying. It was precisely that he was so coarse that allowed him to say these incredibly courageous things. He didnt care what Manhattan elites thought of him.

Lou Dobbs who has developed a cult following for his consistent support of Trump seemed flustered at how to rebut the criticism by the author of In Trump We Trust.

I find everything easier with this man in the White House, he said.

It was far from the first time Coulter has rained fire and fury on President Trump. On Tuesday, the conservative polemicist unloaded on Trump at Columbia University when she told an audience there that the president was a lazy ignoramus.

I knew he was a shallow, lazy ignoramus, and I didnt care, said Coulter. It kind of breaks my heart Hes not giving us what he promised at every single campaign stop.

She also raged against Trump in a series of tweets last week after he signed an omnibus spending bill which funded the government but was unpopular among conservatives for not securing more funding for a wall along the southern border.

Coulter is one of just 45 people Trump follows on Twitter, making it unlikely that he missed her rage tour this week.

Things have been so extreme of late that at least one conservative group is calling on Coulter to challenge Trump in the 2020 primaries.
