Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) told CNNs Chris Cuomo this morning that so-called Sanctuary Cities are actually Fourth Amendment Cities.

Heres how I see it yeah, they call them sanctuary cities. What I would say, Chris, is theyre Fourth Amendment cities.

The DEA, the FBI, the ATF they get warrants right? They go and pick people up.

What [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] which is another federal law enforcement agency does is it wants to have people detained and wants the city of Chicago to go after people without any probable cause being submitted before the court and without a warrant.

If you supply a warrant to the city of Chicago, we will absolutely honor that warrant. But youve got to get a warrant.

Gutierrez is right. The Fourth Amendment says in language even a Republican should be able to understand, The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

This is not what the Trump administration and Attorney General Jeff Sessions want to hear. Sessions actually said on Monday that the Constitution makes our nation less safe:

Such policies cannot continue. They make our nation less safe by putting dangerous criminals back on the streets.

According to Sessions, cities that stand by the United States Constitution cannot have federal money, certainly a bizarre and unreasonable stance for an administration to take, given the presidents vow to defend and support that Constitution.

President Trumps long national nightmare the ongoing scandal over Russias meddling into the campaign for the White House may have grown worse last night with the revelation that former National Security Adviser and Gen. Mike Flynn has a story he very much wants to tell, according to his lawyer.

Trump has been facing incoming from all sides ever since the now seemingly ancient high point of his presidency, his speech to a joint session of Congress.

His approval ratings have dipped to an all-time low for first-year presidents, 35 percent, according to Gallup. He was dealt a major legislative blow last week when Republicans failed to pass a replacement plan for Obamacare.

Yesterday, Trump engaged in a Twitter battle against some of his most loyal Republican supporters during the campaign, the House Freedom Caucus members.

And now Flynn, another one of his key campaign backers, has come forward seeking immunity in exchange for his story, though neither Flynn nor his attorney are revealing whether his story will help or hurt the president.

But for Trump, the black cloud of the Russia probe continues to hang over the White House with no signs of breaking anytime soon. There have been no smoking guns, but a lot of unanswered questions that have provided a steady drip of bad news and unwelcome distractions from Trumps agenda for his first 100 days seen as a defining period in any presidency.

The prospect of a once-loyal Trump foot soldier turned rogue if indeed Flynn has information that could damage Trump will dominate 24-hour cable news coverage and overtake everything else happening in Washington.

But Flynns testimony could also turn out to be more bust than bombshell, just like Trumps tax returns unearthed on MSNBC by Rachel Maddow earlier this month. It may simply be a bid by Flynn to save himself.

Trump also has the proven track record of being able to somehow emerge from shocking scandals, including his Access Hollywood tape and controversial comments and tweets during the campaign.

But for now, Flynns eagerness to step forward only ensures there will be more media attention, public intrigue and Washington drama for a president who campaigned on cleaning up Beltway corruption.

While many people were worried about Microsofts hidden intentions, the Linux Foundation director, Jim Zemlin, said that Microsoft is a changed company. But nobody thought that Microsoft could ever become a completely open source companynot until today.

In an announcement made earlier today, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced that all Microsoft software are open sourced and the users can freely download them. Just in case youre wondering, this open source list of softwarewhich already had Powershell and .Net Core 1.0now also includes Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Office productivity suite.

So, what would Microsoft do to make money? Well, the answer lies in cloud. Yes, Microsoft is raking tons of money with its Cloud business and giving Amazon and Google Cloud a run for its money. Nadella, who has been an advocate of cloud computing, said that Microsoft is also looking to explore new and exciting forays, which will be disclosed in near future.
