Liz Cheney Should Move to South Carolina, Suggests Ann Coulter

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter, left, suggested Liz Cheney abandon the Wyoming senate race and relocate to south Carolina to spice up the fight for Sen. Lindsey Graham's seat.

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter has an idea that would solve two political problems for the price of one carpetbagger. "Why didn't Liz Cheney move to South Carolina?" Coulter said at a bloggers' briefing Wednesday.

"She hasn't lived in Wyoming for, what, at least a decade? If she moved to South Carolina we could all rally behind her." Coulter is, of course, complaining about how Cheney jumped into the Wyoming U.S. Senate race to unseat Sen. Mike Enzi, a fellow Republican. Whereas, Sen. Lindsey Graham's, R-S.C., tea party challengers are not that exciting to Coulter.

"We should not be spending five seconds of energy, money, thought on saving a safe Republican senate seat," Coulter urged. "Once we have a nice, you know, 12 seat majority then we'll purge the losers, except Lindsey Graham, we can purge him now."

The conservative author, who's doing the rounds to promote her 10th book, "Never Trust a Liberal Over Three--Especially a Republican," also encouraged Republican house members from South Carolina to jump into the primary race. "Whichever Republican member of congress does not run against Lindsey Graham right now is going to end up being in position of Biden's son, Beau Biden, who decided not to run in Delaware because Mike Castle has it wrapped up," Coulter recalled. Castle was defeated in the GOP primary in Delaware by tea party favorite Christine O'Donnell, who then lost to Democrat Chris Coons. "I say if any Republican United States congressman from South Carolina runs against Lindsey Graham, he will win," Coulter concluded. "He will not only win the primary, he will win the seat."

After Election, Ann Coulter Gave Up News for ‘Gossip Girl’

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter would rather stay at home and watch "Gossip Girl" than host her own radio talk show.

As you might imagine, President Barack Obama's re-election didn't do good things to Ann Coulter.

"I stopped watching political news, I stopped listening to talk radio," Coulter said during a D.C. visit Wednesday. She explained that for years people have tried to turn the conservative columnist and bestselling author into a radio talk show host.

"I've never been interested and boy was I relieved with that decision after the election," she said at a Heritage Foundation bloggers briefing. "I thought, 'these poor people every day, they have to go on and talk about politics.' I'm at home watching 'Gossip Girl,' just trying to forget about everything."

Coulter was in town promoting her newest book, "Never Trust a Liberal Over Three Especially a Republican," which, besides new writing, includes a treasury of past columns. Coulter's mother passed away in 2009 leaving Coulter a ton of her own print columns, which the writer went through after the 2012 election.

"So in addition to watching 'Gossip Girl' and 'Revenge' and Turner Classic Movies, I was going through her pile of clippings," Coulter explained. Out of that pile came her newest book, her 10th.

Coulter said it was fun to read the columns from back when the GOP was in control. "Oh, life was sweeter then, the birds were singing, the sun was shining and I think it's worth remembering it wasn't really that long ago."

Ann Coulter Cuts Into MSNBC’s Thomas Roberts

Ann Coulter called MSNBC host Thomas Roberts "the stupidest gay person," at a Heritage Foundation event Wednesday.

Best-selling conservative author Ann Coulter has found a new MSNBC host to hate.

Explaining to bloggers at a Heritage Foundation briefing Wednesday that she thought "Hardball" host Chris Matthews still topped her list of "idiotic" hosts at the left-leaning network, she said there was a daytime host that was giving Matthews a run for his money.

"Is it Thomas Roberts or Roberts Thomas?" she asked her audience. The correct answer is Thomas Roberts, who anchors the live 11 a.m. hour on weekdays.

"I keep meaning to tweet this: The stupidest straight person was a man from the 16th century found in outer Mongolia, the skeleton was recently unearthed, and the stupidest gay person: Thomas Roberts," Coulter continued. "Which is weird because gays are usually smarter and more articulate; did they find, like, the one horribly idiot gay?"

She then suggested that the bloggers tune in and see it for themselves. "Seriously, he's retarded, you're laughing like you haven't seen him," she said. "You're doing yourself a disservice."
