Previously he was a longtime employee of the trustee's office.
He says the office is now being run in the right way and wants to continue that.
"Our revenues are up, our employee costs are down, and I've had three quarterly audits all of which have come back 100 percent compliant. We're doing things the right way. We will continue to do things the way people would like this office ran," Leuthold said. Video: Craig Leuthold running for Knox County Trustee in Republican primary (unedited)
Ed Shouse
Candidate Ed Shouse was a longtime county commissioner and also served on Knoxville City Council. He says while he has served in government, his full-time career has been away from politics, and that makes him the best candidate.
