Ann Coulter On Arapahoe School Shooter: ‘Liberalism Is on the Spectrum of Mental Illness’ (Video)

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter told Fox News Monday that the 18-year-old school shooter at Arapahoe High School was inspired by his leftist beliefs because liberalism is on the spectrum of mental illness.

Coulter said all assassination attempts in American history that were politically motivated were done by liberals, and that libertarian Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh doesnt count as a conservative because he was a pot smoker.

Coulter and Fox News host Sean Hannity were reacting to news that The Denver Post stealth-edited a profile of Arapahoe shooter Karl Pierson to remove the word socialist.

The media needs to start telling the truth whether they like it or not, Hannity said during a segment titled Left Wing Lunatics.

Maybe they should start with the fact that the presence of armed guards inside the Colorado school was a key factor in preventing more deaths, he told Coulter.Ive been saying, if you really want to stop school shootings, put in retired policeman, retired military people and it will end. This proves my point.

Um, this proves we should keep liberals out of schools, I think, Coulter laughed. The real thing that all these shootings have in common is that it is crazy people [sic]. The problem is the mental health law in America.

The left has a 200-year history of engaging in political violence, she added. Every single presidential assassination in the United Statessometimes its just a run-of-the-mill nut. But to the extent they have been political, they are always liberals. Theyre communitarians, theyre socialists, theyre communist. There have been four members of Congress were assassinated. Two were just crazy people. And the two the first and the last were committed by liberal nuts.

We find out often is the case [sic] that the people responsible for the shootings are left-wing lunatics, except we dont blame them, Hannity said. We blame the mental health system. We blame the individual.

Well, as I was the first to say and other people ripped it off liberalism is an aspect of mental illness, Coulter responded. So it is not surprising to the extent any of the political violence or any assassinations are political, it is always, always, always liberals. There has never been a right-wing assassination attempt on a president or a member of Congress. Certainly not a successful one.

Hannity mentioned right-wing Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, who wanted to overthrow the federal government during President Bill Clintons administration.

Coulter and Marc Lamont Hill Go Head-to-Head Over Who Can Say ‘N-Word,’ Results Might Surprise You

Tuesday evening on CNNs The 11th Hour, a truly fascinating discussion occurred: Ann Coulter and Marc Lamont Hill went head-to-head over who can say certain forbidden words, including the notorious n-word.

Its an interesting segment to watch for three main reasons: 1) Coulter isnt in home territory since shes on CNN; 2) She and Hill are very cordial with one another, to a point where this feels less like a typical cable news battle and more like a panel discussion at a respected institution; and 3) Who agreed with whom, and on which particular words should never be said by certain people, will very likely surprise you.

Just as a teaser, Coulter at one point asserted that No other word is like the n-word, after lamenting how P.C. police often try to lump words like retard and illegal alien in with the n-word. (Coulter has gotten into hot water for using the first two quite frequently.)

Ann Coulter for the win! Hill shouted. Nobody saw that coming! Host Don Lemon laughed as he acknowledged that this may very well be the first time he agrees with Coulter.

The conversation then veered into other forbidden words and their usage. Thats where we saw a bit more tension.

Coulter: Pelosi Decries GOP’s ‘Disrespect’ for Woman on Network Where Martin Bashir Worked?

On Fox & Friends Sunday morning, Ann Coulter discussed House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosis accusation that the Republican Party showed a consistent disrespect for women, a claim Coulter found odd, given that it was said on MSNBC, on which Martin Bashir recently made some comments about former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin that ended with his resignation.

[Pelosi] said this, on the network where one of their hosts said someone should defecate in Sarah Palins mouth, Coulter said.

Coulter and co-host Tucker Carlson agreed that most of the terms Pelosi used, including equal pay, minimum wage, and paid sick leave, were euphemisms for abortion, and further that abortion was truly disrespectful toward women. Republicans dont have a problem with women, Coulter said. They have a problem with unmarried women, who think: no, we dont need national defense, we need our birth control paid for. Why? Because single women look at the government as their husbands.

Coulter also called the seminars teaching GOP candidates and lawmakers how to communicate with women voters a little bit dorky.

Isnt that the perfect Republican solution? Carlson said. Its sweet but dorky.
