New Trump travel order expected in coming days, Pence says – Reuters

WASHINGTON U.S. President Donald Trump plans to finalize a new order limiting travel to the United States in the coming days, his vice president said on Wednesday, after federal courts blocked the administration's earlier travel ban.

A White House source had previously said the new order was likely to be announced on Wednesday.

More than two dozen lawsuits were filed in U.S. courts against the Jan. 27 travel ban, which temporarily barred entry to the United States for people from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen, as well as halting the U.S. refugee program.

The ban was suspended by the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, ruling in a case brought by Washington state. The Trump administration then said it would produce a new order.

"They're putting out the finishing touches on that executive order. It should be out in the next few days," Vice President Mike Pence told CBS program "This Morning."

The original order triggered chaos at airports as people, including legal residents known as green card holders, were temporarily blocked from entering the country and federal agencies tried to interpret the new guidelines.

The administration has said it is likely the new directive will exclude legal permanent residents, making it harder for opponents to challenge the ban. [L2N1GD20P]

Pence did not elaborate on the revised directive.

The Associated Press, citing unidentified U.S. officials, reported late on Tuesday that the new order will remove Iraq from the list of countries whose citizens face a temporary travel ban.

U.S. President Donald Trump will target a handful of Obama-era green regulations, including a federal coal mining ban and an initiative forcing states to cut carbon emissions, in an executive order as soon as next week, a White House official told Reuters on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON President Donald Trump told Congress on Tuesday he was open to immigration reform, shifting from his harsh rhetoric on illegal immigration in a speech that offered a more restrained tone than his election campaign and first month in the White House.

WASHINGTON The U.S. Senate on Wednesday confirmed President Donald Trump's pick to head the Interior Department as the White House seeks to increase fossil fuel production on federal lands.

Capitulating to Black Racism – American Thinker

President Trump has a surprising solution to black violence and the enormous gap between white people and black people in America: Same-old, same-old.

The scene of this epic capitulation was the Oval Office, where this week a posse of black executives from black colleges were happy that the same guy they have vilified for two years seems oddly eager to let bygones be bygones.

Every person in that room knew Trump had only two choices:

1) Grab the entire system of racial preferences and quotas by the stem and pull it out by the roots; or

2) Pretend that system does not promote black on white hostility and violence, and double down with more preferences, more quotas, more stories of relentless black victimization and white racism.

Trump chose Number 2.

Which is nothing more than a repeat of many other solutions for the problems of black colleges and black students over the last 100 years:

More money. More special treatment. Lower standards. Unprepared graduates with degrees in black studies wondering why they cant find a job, then remembering why: White racism is holding them back.

Later, rinse, repeat. Then visit the Museum of African American Racial Hostility at the Smithsonian.

For all the political geniuses out there who are stapling their fingers, getting ready to explain the pure genius of trying to split at least a few black people from the Democratic coalition, dont bother. Every Republican tries it -- George Bush with AIDS in Africa ring a bell? How about Condi Rice and Colin Powell? -- and it never works.

Maybe this time, this will be different.

The idea is generally grab the graduates of black colleges, send them back to black neighborhoods, where they will preach love, devotion, and surrender. And forget the black on white hostility they learned every day in their black colleges.

Wouldnt it be pretty if that were true?

Instead we get community organizers, who, if they get their way, take eight years to install racial preferences into every nook and cranny of the federal government. Then sit back and wait for racial hell to break loose if Trump tries to touch even one.

Meanwhile, Trump supporters around the country are under violent attack from black people, while MSNBC and others are trying to convince us the opposite is true.

The latest comes from Kettering, Ohio, in the suburbs of Dayton. Over the weekend, a white kid walked out of sports bar where a dozen black people started taunting and harassing and threatening him about Donald Trump.

Stop me if you have heard of this story before in dozens of other places around the country over the last few months: pulling white people out of cars, beating them to the sounds of Trump obscenities. Or my personal favorite, the black person who, just a few days ago, pulled on AR-15 rifle out of the trunk of his car, removed a Trump bumper sticker, then challenged to the owner to stop him.

All on video --all because Trump wants to deport black people back to Africa. I would not have believed that either unless I saw it on video. So here it is:

Four or five of the guys held me down on the hood of my girlfriends car, Jackson told WHIO news. While the biggest one punched me in the face repeatedly. I felt my face break. I was yelling at them and screaming at them, guys you just broke my face. Why? Why are you doing this?

Anyone who attended a black college knows the answer to that question: Black on white violence wildly out of proportion is caused by white racism. Which is everywhere. All the time. And it explains everything. They call it Critical Race Theory -- only it is not a theory anymore, it is an industry of books and lectures and movies and lifestyles and TV shows and government programs that is a staple of life on black colleges -- and white ones too.

The beating continued, much to the delight and encouragement of other black people kind enough to put some of the encounter on video:

Along with lots of other black on white violence visited upon Trump supporters and ignored by national news. You find that here: Colin Flaherty Trump violence playlist.

Meanwhile, national news continues to try and convince us that Trump supporters (white nationalists all, says NPR) are desecrating Jewish cemeteries in St. Louis and Philadelphia, because this is how white people roll.

Another fairy tale that only makes sense the further you get from those two cities and the closer you get to Washington. Because people who live in and around those two chocolate cities know that large-scale criminality is a black thing.

And unless you went to a black college, you wouldnt understand.

Donald Trump Writes an SNL Episode – The New Yorker

CreditPHOTOGRAPH BY DANA EDELSON / NBC / GETTY

Cold Open: Its set in a normal American house in 2017. Gold walls, gold doors, gold everything. Normal house. The family is beautiful. Nice-looking mom, nice-looking dad, hot kids. Dad tells his family he got fired. Job went to China. This happens. Mom tells family she also got fired. Job went to Mexico. Happens all the time. One kid says, Thanks, Obama! Big laughs. Huge laughs. Obama himself comes onstage and admits its his fault. Looks at the camera and says, Live from New York, its Saturday night!

Monologue: Donald Trump is the guest. Me, Donald Trump. I go out and tell it like it is. Talk about the world, the country, the news. I plug Ivankas clothing line. I plug the next four years of America. Alec Baldwin walks onstage mid-monologue trying to act like me and goes, Wait, who are you? Im Donald Trump. I punch Alec Baldwin so hard he becomes Billy Baldwin. Huge laughs. Everyone loves Billy Baldwin. Billys great. Im better.

Sketch No. 1: Its a car-commercial parody video. A normal American car is driving around a normal American mountain. Nice. Pretty. Sleek. We see Im driving the car. This is whats funny. I would never drive my own car. The audience will laugh, my chauffeur assures me.

Sketch No. 2: Its a normal American factory in 2018. Full of hard workers. Salt of the earth. Meet them all the time. Theyre turning coal into food. Classic factory. Boss comes in. Great guy. True leader. Definition of entrepreneur. I play the boss. I tell the workers that were doing too well. Factory is making too much money. We dont know what to do with all the money. This isnt funny, because this is commonplace under the Trump Administration. Whats funny is that all the money starts pouring out onto a conveyor belt in the factory and we try to handle it all, like in that I Love Lucy scene.

Sketch No. 3: This is that old Da Bears! sketch, but they say Da Barrons! instead. Pictures of my son are flashed on the screen. Billy Baldwin plays Chris Farleys part. He destroys. Everyone agrees hes better. I dont act in this one because Im busy tweeting about how great the episode is so far.

Musical Performance No. 1: Jimmy Buffett does Cheeseburger in Paradise. I play guitar with the band. My guitar has a normal American flag on it. Red, white, and blue, and all gold. I kill it. Knock it out of the park. I add two guitar solos. Buffett cries onstage. Real tears. Salty, like margaritas.

Weekend Update: Instead of those two guys, I host with Mike Pence. I talk about whats in the news and make it funny. Not hard with what the mainstream media report. I talk about a scientific study that further confirms that global warming isnt a hoax and that our planet is in serious trouble. America laughs so hard at that joke that the Environmental Protection Agency instantly dissolves. Camera shows Obama backstage doubled over laughing, saying, Its so true. I dont let Mike Pence say a single word the entire time.

Sketch No. 4: Russias national sketch group, Comrade Haha, has five minutes to do whatever it wants. (This isnt a political move; Comrade Haha is just hysterical.)

Musical Performance No. 2: Jimmy Buffett sings Cheeseburger in Paradise again. I play all the instruments. Everyone says Im the fifth Beatle. I agree.

Sketch No. 5: Its a normal American hundred-million-dollar private planemarble countertops, movie theatre, portrait gallery of paintings of me in it. Average things. I play the planes owner. Nice. Strong. An everyman. Joke is my personal flight attendant has a funny accent. Real weird. He says something and I go, What was that? Its great. Do it for, like, twelve minutes. I make America laugh again. The two living Beatles are so proud of me.

Farewells: The cast and I say thank you and wave goodbye. John Belushis ghost appears and says it was the best episode ever and that he voted for me in Heaven. Good man. Great ghost. As the credits roll, I punch Billy Baldwin so hard he turns into Stephen Baldwin. Huge laughs. Stephens great. Nobody in America wants to see my taxes.
