Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didnt perform well in the latest poll in the New York City mayors race, according to a new Rasmussen poll released Tuesday.

Fifty-eight percent of likelyvoters in the city dont want Clinton to run again, compared to just 23 percent of voters who wanted the former presidential candidate to run. Nineteen percent of voters hadnt yet made up their mind.

Current Mayor Bill de Blasiois set to run for reelection, but trails Republican challenger Paul Massey, Jr. in terms of fundraising. Massey raised $1.6 million in the race so far, compared to de Blasios $1 million.

Clinton expressed interest in the race, but said she would only consider running if de Blasio didnt enter the race for some reason.

Rasmussen surveyed 1,000 likely voters from March 2 through March 5. The poll included a margin of error of 3 percentage points in either direction.

Hillary Clinton Goes Viral Again for Another Epic Airplane Photo – Bravo (blog)

Hillary Clinton is no one-hit wonder when it comes to amazing (if ironic) photos taken in airplanes.

In the most recent instance, a fellow passenger noticed the frequent traveler sitting in coach on a flight, snapped a pic, and shared it.

While it may surprise some people that Clinton sometimes flies coach hey, even Ivanka Trump sometimes flies coach it's not that bit that made the photo spread like wildfire.

No, it's because of the particular detail that Clinton is reading a newspaper with interest. The headline? "Pence used personal email in office." (You may remember a certain drama about Clinton's own personal email server back during the 2016 presidential election.)

Let's recall now another famous Clinton photo: Back in late 2015, a black-and-white picture went viral that showed Clinton staring seriously into her Blackberry, in all-black HBIC-style wardrobe and sunglasses, on a flight to Libya in 2011. That photo became famous when it launched the meme "Texts from Hillary," which featured it alongside imagined messages between Clinton and other famous, important people.

By the way? We know from her (damn) email leaks the moment she learned that this photo was going viral. According to The Hill, an aid's email informed her of its proliferation. Clinton was surprised that the already-old image suddenly had legs. The aid wrote: "You look cute." Apparently Clinton agreed, because she later used the image on her social media accounts. (And you would have too, because it's the ultimate in travel badassery.)

Hillary Clinton Supporter Still Insists She Didn’t Murder Her Daughter – Washington Free Beacon

Apparent Hillary Clinton supporter Casey Anthony, who was onceaccused of murdering her child but later acquitted, continues to insist she had nothing to do with her young daughter's death in a new interviewwith the Associated Press.

"I'm still not even certain as I stand here today about what happened,"Anthony said.

In a still image from the 24-second mark of the video accompanying the story, a Clinton sticker can be seen in what appears to be Anthony's office.

The AP noted that its reporter met with Anthony while she was protesting President Trump at a rally in Palm Beach, Florida. Anthony now lives with the private investigator who assisted her defense.

Anthony was acquitted of first-degree murder in 2011 in the death of her two-year-old daughter Caylee, who went missing for months in 2008 and whose skeletal remains were later found buried near her grandparents' home in Orlando, Florida.

Anthony, in one of a series of fabrications, initially claimed a babysitter had disappeared with Caylee, but she later admitted she made that story up. She also was seen partying and getting a tattoo meaning "good life" in the period when her daughter was missing.

Anthony's odd behavior, failure to account for her daughter's whereabouts for a full month, and repeated false statements to investigators after Caylee's disappearance heightened suspicions that ultimately led to her arrest. Her nationally televised trial and subsequent acquittal of murder and other major chargesshe was convicted on lesser charges of lying to the policesparked a media frenzy.

The AP wrote that Anthony's comments in a series of on-the-record interviews were "at turns revealing, bizarre and often contradictory, and they ultimately raised more questions than answers about the case that has captivated the nation."

Her response to questions about her defense team's drowning theory was especially strange.

"Everyone has their theories, I don't know. As I stand here today I can't tell you one way or another," she said. "The last time I saw my daughter I believed she was alive and was going to be OK, and that's what was told to me."

Burns files bill to protect property owners – Cleburne Times-Review

The Fifth Amendment grants the federal government the right to exercise its power of eminent domain the power to take private property for public use by a state, municipality, private person or corporation authorized to exercise functions of public character, following the payment of just compensation to the owner of that property.

State Rep. DeWayne Burns, R-Cleburne, filed House Bill 2684 on Thursday, which aims to level the playing field for property owners when they face off with government entities and corporations with infinitely greater resources.

Burns said it was his personal experience with eminent domain that prompted him to file the bill.

I know first hand the burden that the eminent domain process places on landowners, he said. You climb off a tractor and there is a person there telling you they are there to negotiate a fair price for land you didnt want to sell and at the end of the day if you dont want to sell it, it will be taken from you.

Burns said his family owns property in the southwest part of Johnson County and several years ago when the Barnett shale was really active, he and many other landowners in the area found themselves in negotiations for eminent domain.

We had multiple pipeline companies that were wanting to come across our property, he said. Some of the companies were easy to deal with and some were not. Sometimes we felt threatened by them. I felt like landowners at the time had no information and nowhere to turn and were dealing from a position of not knowing what is going on.

That is why I am fighting to ensure property owners are in the best possible position when faced with the taking of their property. In Texas, private property rights are a sacred principle, and I believe this legislation will help preserve that right without adversely affecting the businesses that are helping to grow our economy.

Malachi Solomon Tomlinson posted on the Times-Review Facebook page that he is in favor of the proposed bill.

In theory, Burns plan would give people more power over their own property against corporations, he said. Sad that we had to get to this point to make a bill when the constitution and the clause already give those rights. But what about when the state turns around and finds loopholes to seize land or work on it like they often do highways or roads? Still powerless.

Jennifer Hamblin said she thinks HB 2684 might not be effective.

We never truly own [our property] anyway even after the loan is paid off you still pay taxes, she said. You dont pay taxes they take your property either way. The government will take it like they do everything else. Plus they only give you barely what it is worth which if you try to find the same amount of property it costs double what you already had. Not very fair.

Burns said Texas is a growing state with a strong appetite for new development which has put a target on Texas property, leaving landowners searching for a fair offer and process in eminent domain cases.

The new legislation will provide for the reimbursement of landowner expenses if they are sued by a condemner and are ultimately awarded significantly more than the final offer, he said, It will also spell out the use and restriction details required within a condemners bona fide offer to ensure the entity will properly use and maintain the property.

Burns legislation was met with approval from individuals and organization who advocate on behalf of property owners across Texas.

This new legislation is a tremendous step toward fixing a faulty process that places landowners at a huge disadvantage when navigating the condemnation process, said Richard Thorpe, president of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. We are grateful to have strong allies like Burns who are committed to defending the rights of private landowners and preserving our future.

HB 2684 will level the playing field
